The Pot Calling The Kettle Black….

Here is a frank comment from Kubang Kerian UMNO division about money politics in UMNO Kubang Kerian.

Kelantan’s Kubang Kerian Umno division head Fauzi Ismail yesterday admitted that money politics, although not so rampant, was used for the current elections in branches.

The statement from Fauzi Ismail is hilarious… 

Last term, he went for Division Head, contested against the incumbent then, Datuk Rusli Ibrahim. Fauzi eventually won the post. During that term, he was charged with illegal claim on fund provided by Jabatan Pembangunan Persekutuan Kelantan. Charged but was not convicted because of prima facie. Hence, he was suspended till right after last General Election (PRU12). 

And now, back at helm, contesting again to retain his post as head of division, he has misused his post to manipulate, forcefully influenced division’s branches to nominate him as the next head of division… 

There were some reports, saying he paid the branch head as much as 2 grand just for the nomination. 

So…. coming from him….
