Chedet ibarat Melayu Mudah Lupa March 23, 2009

Undang-undang mana dia pakai?

3. Si Luncai Emas - March 27, 2009

1. Taktik UMNO dah tak laku…

2. Taktik buat blog cakap bukan-bukan dan langsung tak bincang dengan bernas pun dah tak laku…

3. Apa taktik licik sekalipun, asal orang dah tahu dan dah sedar, takkan tahan lama…

4. Si Luncai Emas - March 27, 2009

Bosannya baca perbincangan kedai kopi macam ni…

5. nikmj - March 27, 2009

To Wan,
Tun tu dah tua… kubur kata mari, rumah kata pergi… brp lama lagi la nak hidup… Kalau PR menang kat federal, gerenti kena panggil pergi court macam kt Selangor SELCAT panggil Toyo dan Balkis..

To Luncai Emas,
Kalau perbincangan dah kena batang hidung sendiri memang la bosan…

6. Yusry - March 29, 2009

Salam..
buat sahabat2 semua, jgn terlalu ikutkan perasaan kalian..jgn terlalu byk sangat mengutuk sana sini! saya ingin bertanya..apakah sumbangan saudara/ri sekalian pada agama, bangsa dan negara malaysia yg tercinta ini? Kalu ada sumbangan Alhamdulillah..kalu xde senyap jelah, jgn banyak sgt bercakap yg melalut mcm org gila bercakap xtau punca..fikirlah apa sumbangan yg nak diberikan kepada agama, bangsa, dan negara kita ni..
Apa2 pun berfikirlah dulu sebelum kita berbicara…jgnlah buat org gelak tergolek2 dgr apa yg kita cakap…bercakap tanpa ilmu ibarat mencurah air ke daun keladi je…ok..renungkanlah bersama…

7. nikmj - March 30, 2009

To Yusry,
Kesalahan tetap kesalahan walau sebesar zarah sekalipun. Walau sebanyak mana jasa seseorang, namun jika dia melakukan kesalahan, dia wajar dibetulkan.

nikmj - April 6, 2009

tak kira siapa jadi kerajaan semua akan tolong rakyatnya.
its not about respecting others opinion, its simply about forgetting what you said before. I’m just reminding him of what he said before.
I’m not too defensive. I’m telling the truth and that is my principle. Whether you like it or not, its not my problem.
By the way I’m not expecting YOU to give respect to whatever I said because after all, everyone has a right to say whatever he or she wanted to say. At least it is right to the one he say so, and so everyone of us. TQ for your funny yet short sighted opinion and your visit to this site.

9. Mohammad Hanafi Bin Salam - April 9, 2009

Bukan nak mengata, sekadar ingat mengingati sesama islam… lawan tetap lawan

nikmj ko dah tulis msg kt cni bnyk sgtla. naik menyampah aku. org lain pun naik menyampah. ko jgn tulis pape lg bleh? abis sumer org ko nk betah. ko jgn ckp ko tak betah, ko hanya bg pendapat. buat2 pandai. aku yg student ni pon naik pening tgk org mcm ko. tlg ar jgn tulis msg kt cni lg. aku nk bc org lain nyer msg plak. absurd isnt? hell with it.

nikmj - April 11, 2009

Well why dont you give your opinion about the article rather than condemning other people’s opinion? Let’s see how good a student opinion can be !

11. awang - April 26, 2009

Inikah tujuan bahasa Inggeris dikuasai…bahasa Melayu pula dilupakan.

12. aed_iskandar - April 30, 2009

cyber_donut didn’t condemned other people’s opinion,..but particularly you. Chedet is not Malay,..He’s MAMAK! That’s why he said “Melayu Mudah Lupa” because he had observed the Malay mentality quite well,…Just a suggestion, maybe you should read and analyze the book that he wrote named “The Challenge”,..About the “ENGLISH PPSMI thingy”,..hell with it. Coz we’re going nowhere…The best thing to do is,…”duduk kat Malaysia tercinta, cakap bahasa Melayu tak kira cina atau india, belajar kesusasteraan melayu, dan majukan bahasa melayu”,…after that, we’ll know where this country is heading,..

p/s: slot in 6 bullet in your revolver, enough to kill everyone!~

13. rico - May 4, 2009

apepun yg korang debatkan korang kena ingat chedet dah bangunkan negara ni..kalo nak harapkan pemimpin lain aku rasa sampai sekarang pun kita masih di tindas dan ditakuk lama. persoalan chedet mamak ke ape ke, korang kena ingat dia antara pemimpin yang pertahankan bangsa melayu dari penangan orang cina. nak harapkan paklah sampai bila pun hampeh…to nikmj, ko punya debat tu tak berasas, lebih kepada anti kerajaan tapi ko sedar ke segala pendidikan, wang ringgit ko tu skrg datang dari mana? memang suma kerajaan akan tolong rakyat tapi pertologan yang mcmana? cukup atau x? aku rasa ko matang dari aku sebab ko nak org pandang ko mcm tu so aku rasa ko bleh berfikir lebih waras…to cub, betul ko ckp nikmj ni defensive…too defensive…mcm pembangkang gak…

First of all, Chedet do said so ‘ Melayu mudah lupa’, you know why, because he himself is not a real Malay. HE’S A MAMAK. Secondly, what’s wrong with so called PEMBANGKANG? Becase you all like BN, it doesnt meant that all have to like BN as well. Next, because you believe in what BN did, it doesnt meant that all have to have same believe with you.

Furthermore, I never deny that Chedet is one of the best Malaysia PM ever. But that doest meant that he is ‘MAKSUM’. For example, its good to have a national car Proton. But then its bad when the price is expensive plus the quality is bad. Second example, its good to have highways. But then its bad when it is being privatised to party’s company where stupid agreement had been signed to favor the concessionaires deliberately. These are only 2 examples for you guys to think to mature up. Please do not support anything or debate anything without facts.

Lastly, what do you guys meant for being too defensive? Because I said Chedet is Melayu mudah lupa? I believe at 82 years old and considering he had done many things before, and he had confessed to judges in Anwar’s and Lingam video cases that he had forgotten, thus I believe he can be considerd as nyanyuk already. DONT YOU THINK SO?

14. rico - May 4, 2009

did i ever said that he is MAKSUM? no rite? about proton, it has been designed to all malaysians, and i dont think that the price is expensive cuz when u compare the engine capacity with the other foreign car, the price is still reasonable. Kalo x, xkanlah nak bersepah keta nasional kat jalanraya kita? hm? in fact, kalo u dah x suke keta nasional, it is up to u, sebab ramai lagi org kat luar sana yang guna keta nasional…think b4 u talk bro…kalo ko dah xsupport keta nasional, xpyh la gune k?senang…sekurang-kurang chedet come out jugak dgn proton, tp pemimpin lain?maksud defensive yang aku maksudkan, bila ditanya atau dipersoalkan, keluarlah jawapan “tak kira siapa jadi kerajaan semua akan tolong rakyatnya.” , Jangan dok melalut kat sini tanpa sebab, baik anda fikir dan cuba sumbangkan sesuatu untuk kebaikan agama, bangsa dan negara ini., dan banyak lagi lah, sedangkan orang yg berpesan pada dia, but in the end dia lak ckp benda yg sama pada org lain utk menutup kekurangan fakta dan kekuatan hujahnya…ada phm?

One thing for sure, you are really living in the state of denial. When I said Proton is expensive, what I really meant is when you compare for the quality you get for the amount that you have paid. If you do some study, in which I dont think so, say for example Ford only cost RM50K++ in Langkawi, Altis only cost RM40K++ in Brunei, Ford in US only cost USD10K++, Spectra in Korea only cost RM20++ compare to Viva in Malaysia that cost up to RM40K. My experience of 7 years using Proton, I believe is good enough for me to swap for imported one which is more worthwhile for the amount I paid.

To quote what you said, “jangan dok melalut kat sini” I guess you better keep your love to Chedet and better live in real world. Ada faham?

15. rico - May 4, 2009

What type and year of ford and altis that you compared to this viva? and if u r really making a close study, VIVA IS NOT FROM PROTON…IT IS PERODUA…you should understand that every automobile company has their own way to market their product. and i think if u already make some ‘study’ u should understand that every car that u compared should be in the same year of release, engine capacity, brand, market target and so on..Then, if u think that you better swap for the imported one u can go on, because to be honest if u r a million dollar man, u can use many better car than proton, but to be a malaysian and condemned your own national car, that is not a good way of cristism.

And i hope next time you better read carefully, “jangan dok melalut kat sini” is not produced by me…i m quoting nikmj…open your eyes and read back ok? tentang kereta tu nak debat study tul2 dulu k?

About chedet, i admit i do love him and respect him as our ex prime minister, aku umat tahu bersyukur dengan ape yg dia dah bawa pada malaysia…walaupun mungkin dia ada uat kesilapan, sekurang-kurangnya dia xcuba jual malaysia ke tgn orang barat…dan dia juga manusia biasa…dan kalo ko expect semua pemimpin xleh uat salah, ko pun better live in the real world k? ada faham?

Aku nak state gak kat cni aku xmemihak kepada mana2 parti politik…aku hanya melihat dari pandangan org ketiga….so kalo ko nak assume aku org bn atau kerajaan, u r too damn wrong….aku hanya bg pandangan aku sebagai rakyat malaysia….ternyata ko defensive dan gagal utk nak jd offensive…ada phm?😉

16. nikmj - May 4, 2009

To Rico,
TQ for your visit and interest in commenting in this blog. But then I really doubt your actual stance as you said you are the third party and not supporting any any BN or PR party. The reason is simply your opinion shows that you are a fanatic supporter of Chedet and BN projects that you cannot accept any wrongdoings behind the good projects.

You dont have to be a millionaire to own an import car in Malaysia. Just look at the Proton Perdana issue used by Perak and Terengganu SA, that should be a simple guideline of how worth to own different car. It not purely nationalistic, its about the truth that I believe its hard to be swallowed by fanatics like you.

Grow to be more matured man dude, dont get emotional too much

17. gadis ayu - May 4, 2009

BLAHLAH

Kat nikmj, teruskan memblog… jgn dok layan sangat dengan mamt Rici bangap ni..

18. rico - May 4, 2009

nikmj, ko sebelum ko pesan kat aku jgn emotional, ko pesan jap kat agen ko si gadis ‘ayu’ ni…aku rasa dia lebih emo dari aku sebab dlm komen aku xdela plak kuar perkataan bodoh ke, bengap ke…this is not a place for a person who like to come out with that kind of word…

To nikmj, thanks a lot on your comment…krisis di perak dan terengganu has no relation with what i try to conclude here…

Tentang Dr M tu mamak ke ape ke, i think i have to tell all of u something… Dia keturunan mamak, tapi dia nak jugak pertahankan orang melayu, kira ok la, tapi kita yang melayu ni ape yg kita dah buat untuk bangsa? berpolitik sampai pecah belahkan bangsa? mcm tu?😉

Ops it’s a mistake, ‘gadis ayu’ is not my agen.

If I not mistaken, KIA started almost the same time with Proton in early 80’s, both ventured with Mitsubishi. We can see where Proton stand now compare to Korean car.

In terms of politic, I put Islam first rather than ethnic.

19. rico - May 4, 2009

dats good…kalo dia agen anda, dah cukup menunjukkan betapa tidak professional nya hujah dari pihak anda…

faktanya, KIA telah bermula dalam era automobil sejak 1944, untuk hasilkan basikal dengan tiub besi…diaorg mula buat motosikal, lori dan kereta sejak 1952…so is it fair to compare with proton? dan KIA venture dengan Ford pada 1986…bkn mitsubishi… so len kali, if nak bukak fakta, xpyh guna ayat if i m not mistaken….

“In terms of politic, I put Islam first rather than ethnic. ”

good word, but i cant see anything good from what you done now for Islam…:-)

To use time or period as the reason why Proton cannot compete yet with bigger automobile company is just an excuse. With almost full govt support, Proton sales even lost to Perodua lately. In terms of pricing, NAZA could even offer better package for better quality car.
Perhaps I havent do much for Islam, but then establishing a forum and blog to create awareness about Islam is just a good start.
I just wonder who are you referring to when you said ” jual malaysia ke tgn orang barat… “. That phrase was quite famous among Chedet follower quite sometime ago. It’s amazing that until now many people still buzzing with that idea even though until now no evidences or proof have been brought to court. Perhaps that is alright for those who put races above religion I guess !!!

20. rico - May 4, 2009

awareness huh? or creating something to make someone look like he was the only one to be blame? Islam mmg ajar kita tunjukkan kebenaran tp bukan dgn memburkkan orang tersebut atau mengaibkan…that is two different thing that u should know…

xkiralah jenama apepun, proton, perodua, atau naza, we should be proud of our products…nape nak hentam proton je sedangkan perodua and naza pun ada kontra masing2…sebabnya proton idea Dr M kan?

Tentang kereta at the first place I said Proton is expensive compared to others (I did give some examples) and I DID NOT said period is the ONLY determinants. I do said the value for money being paid for Proton is not worth spending. So how much facts you trying to back up Proton, at the end, it still not worth spending that much money to get the car. But if you think your patriotism to buy Proton go ahead. No one is stopping you. Its your money anyway !

I have no bad feelings toward Chedet as I have met him and talk to him personally couple times when he was a pm before. As about Islam, saying Proton is not worth spending is not a sin, its a fact that everyone should understand and should be taken by Proton as challenge to built better car. If saying Chedet is ibarat Melayu mudah lupa is a sin, then I guess Chedet himself is at fault because he is the one who come out with that phrase and lately he keep on saying something against what he has said. Its not my intention to blush him. Its just a reminder that everyone is not perfect and there should be give and take.

I do not at chillies here and what I understood from that phrase is just a mere fitnah from ruling party that until now no evidence yet to prove that allegations. May God bless those who made that fitnah !!!

21. Boy - May 18, 2009

Tun nyanyuk pun, aku dan ramai lagi orang kat malaysia ni respect dia. Ko nyanyuk nanti, cucu ko pun sure tak respect ko. Gerenti.

Tun peduli apa ko respek ke tak respek kat dio. YG ko nak gerenti tu sapa nak respek… wakakakakka

22. RMAF Captain - May 22, 2009

stupid arguement…!! Short cut….Malaysia is nothing if not bcoz Chedet or BN…..INI FAKTA…ada bukti utk menidakkan fakta ini..??? atau ada fakta to show PAS, DAP, PKR, RPK, Anwar…yg bawa Malaysia maju spt hari ini??? Kalau takdak juz dok diam2 and be a good citizen…sssshhhhhh…

Nobody denies that Chedet has done many good things in addition to bad thing. This article just discussing one issue only which is Melayu Mudah Lupa quote. Since he’s the one who come out with the quote, so he should stand by it. Anyway this article is not about Pakatan Rakyat, so no fact is required to be tabled here. Perhaps mykmu could please you if you want to discuss about it.

23. mctoksei - May 25, 2009

24. azidi - May 26, 2009

Contohnya pengharaman UMNO yg mewujudkan Semangat 46, Kes Memali, Kehilangan kekebalan Raja ( https://nmjnh.wordpress.com/2009/02/18/kronologi-penderhakaan-umno-kepada-raja-malaysiakini/ ) dll.

25. nikmj - May 27, 2009

To all loyal UMNO supporters, perhaps this list could help you to think properly before giving undivided support to those leaders,

1 Historical Background

One of the first things that UMNO prime ministers promise when they are first appointed is to eradicate corruption. The 2M administration introduced the Cekap Amanah Bersih slogan. This was quickly forgotten. 22 years later the public perception of corruption in all parts of the Government was so high that Abdullah administration made a similar promise. After ECM Libra and the Turkish yacht debacle, it is now the turn of the Najib administration. It is hard to believe any progress will be made after seeing the Najib administration’s response to public concerns about the RM 500 million submarine commission.

2 Size of the problem

The Pakatan Government in Selangor has managed to secure savings of over RM 80 million from PKNS alone in one year simply by introducing competitive open public tenders. One can only imagine the scale of losses over the past 50 years if all the Federal, State and Municipal expenditure is considered.

In England the public reaction to relatively small claims by elected representatives is sufficient to raise alarm bells. Here billions of ringgit is treated casually. The contemptuous way in which the previous Mentri Besar of Selangor treats the SELCAT inquiry into the Balkis accounts highlights why corruption is out of control.

3 The responsible agencies

Corruption in Malaysia is high. This is not due to weak laws. There is more than enough manpower. It is simply poor leadership.

Take MCAC. After the Adelaide incident a new Director General should have been appointed. Why is he still there? Take for example his attitude to the SELCAT inquiry. Consider the deluge of information that has entered the public domain. His refusal to take action even in such a public case reveals much about the modus operandi of MCAC.

Then there is the whole issue of prosecution powers. Looking at the Attorney General’s casual attitude to the Kugan death, there is little reason to feel any confidence that corruption will be brought under control in the near future. Even when overwhelming evidence is available and the charge is clear even to laymen, the Attorney General’s inertia is blatant.

The public view about the police does not need to be debated after the Ipoh incident. We know where they stand and their view about the law. What is confusing is that the police talk about public cooperation and the need for the public to come forward and assist the police. Look at the Irene Fernandez case and the particulars of the charge. Anyone who comes forward with inconvenient information faces high risks.

Finally the judiciary. Take the Lingam fiasco and the statement made by the Chief Justice on corruption in the courts. Now judges have also decided that they need not give written opinions. No record of judicial decisions needs to be maintained

These are the authorities responsible for eradicating corruption. From their track record it can be seen that there is much to be done.

4 Public Participation

Studies carried out in the field of forensic audit can teach us something about human nature.

Approximately 25% of employees are fundamentally honest under any circumstances. Approximately 15% of employees are fundamentally dishonest if given an opportunity.

The remaining 60% of employees will be dishonest if three conditions are satisfied – opportunities are available, there is little likelihood of getting caught and if caught are unlikely to suffer serious consequences and they are able to rationalize their dishonesty.

If dishonesty is obvious especially in leaders, if little or no penalties are incurred even in obvious acts of dishonesty, and numerous opportunities for dishonesty are created and preserved, it is not difficult to rationalise dishonest conduct.

5 Petronas

The only difference between Malaysia and Zimbabwe (Mahathir and Mugabe) is Petronas. Petronas has been the reason why Malaysia has been able to tolerate corruption over the past 25 years.

A good example of how this has been done is seen in Terengganu where oil royalties have been diverted. Exactly where has the money gone? How was it spent?

Now we are told that Malaysia will soon become a net oil importer. If corruption continues on the same scale the future of the Malaysian economy is dim.

6 Privatisation

The model has been to award concessions to favoured companies. The documents are official secrets. No information on costs is publicised. The consumer and taxpayer is penalised after the work is completed. If the consumer resists making the payments demanded the taxpayer is forced to compensate. If the project fails the concession holder is bailed out. A good example is Indah Water. However previous experience does not trigger concern for future projects. The PKFZ fiasco is just the latest in a long line of failures experienced over the last 25 years.

7 What needs to be done

First of all bad laws need to be repealed. As far as corruption is concerned the Official Secrets Act must go. It could be replaced with an act covering state secrets only as far as national security is concerned. The Act does not protect secrets. It is there only to protect officials.

The whole concept of the an Attorney General’s unfettered discretion with regard to prosecution cannot be right. In an open and shut case like Kugan or Balkis the Attorney General must be compelled to prosecute. The best thing to do is to establish a separate Director of Public Prosecutions answerable to Parliament. At the same time the practice of selective prosecution must be curbed. A good example is Irene Fernandez. What was served by prosecuting her? Now we have immigration detention centres again in the limelight with people dying from obscure diseases caused by rat urine.

The Auditor General’s reports must be taken seriously. Any kind of leakage must be investigated. Take PKFZ. No one can understand the problem in prosecuting the people responsible. Exactly how much was lost? What steps are being taken to recover the monies diverted?

8 The Judiciary

The judiciary has been under a cloud for over 2 decades. This is not some isolated comment from a fringe group of dissidents. It is also not tied to some isolated event. Again and again we see even more absurd and ridiculous conduct.

The latest turns on Article 72(1) of the Federal Constitution. Let me ask just what is needed to understand this clause.

The validity of any proceedings in the Legislative Assembly of any State shall not be questioned in any court.

Is it possible for anyone to misunderstand this clause? No one can be that incompetent.

Then we have the Lingam judges. These are the judges expressly mentioned in the Lingam conversation. These are the judges identified for appointment as high court judges and now elevated to the Court of Appeal. Let there be no doubt that their actions will be closely monitored. We already have a clear exhibition of their conduct in the Perak MB vs MB case.

Then we have the Statement made by a Chief Justice on corruption in the Judiciary and his own actions while in legal practice of having to pay bribes to expedite his cases. Karpal Singh has already highlighted this issue. Yet all we have is complete silence in the hope that the Malaysia mudah lupa prayer will work. Judges must simply be forced to abide by their own Code of Ethics and some means must be available to remove judges who blatantly violate this Code.

It is these kinds of situations that enable the man on the street to rationalise that corruption is rampant and that there is little need to display any kind of personal honesty in his day to day dealings.

Conclusion

Let me be absolutely clear. Any form of corruption must be addressed especially in people in positions of trust and responsibility.

26. azidi - May 28, 2009

nikmj. You ni hebat lah. You dapat senaraikan 8 cerita yang hebat2 belaka tapi semua kosong. Tak apa tapi saya cuba nak baca 8 kebaikan diri awak pula. Boleh tak. saja nak tengok kehebatan awak!

TQ for your compliment, and if you think the 8 topics is useless, then I guess you are no different from other loyal govt supporters. By right the issues should be settled by those responsible for the goodsake of the country and her citizens. The issues are totally national issue that I’m sure those who can think rationally, surely would take action to do it. If those authorized people involved deliberately dont want to clear the issues, then its up to the rakyat to decide in the next General Election. Anyway your request about mine is out of topic

Dont think that people will support PR on GE 13 hundred %.

No one in PR is thinking like that bro. Bringing up matters regarding justice to all is not politicking. Its their responsibilities as MP and they work 24hrs.
